CleanSpeed 1 was AERO’s first EV. It consisted of a simple DC powertrain system and prismatic batteries. At Formula Hybrid 2013, it completed all 22 km of the endurance race (for the first time in the history of the competition) as well as a 5.60 second acceleration run. Overall it placed 2nd at Formula Hybrid.
